| Deliveries of Purchases. Your items may arrive in different shipments. Depending on the type, quantity and weight of items in your order, we may pack and ship them in different packages to ensure they arrive on time and undamaged. You will never be charged more for shipping and handling than what appears at checkout. JH Kilt Hire will always do its best to ensure your delivery arrives on time. However, delivery dates are not guaranteed and there may be a number of unforeseen reasons why your items might arrive after the estimated arrival date. Credit card authorization/verification and bad weather are usually the obvious reasons behind delays, so please always ensure you place your order well in advance. Deliveries of Kilt Hire Outfits. All hire outfits are delivered by "City Link" an internationally reputable courier company. City Link have continued to successfully deliver for JH Kilt Hire since 2004. All outfits are packaged seperately & securely and on a next day delivery basis. In most cases we will send the outfits 2 days prior to your function, so if for any reason there is any delay this will hopefully allow the courier time to resolve the situation. However, we must again stress, delivery dates are not guaranteed and there may be a number of unforeseen reasons why your outfit might arrive after the arrival date. In the unlikely event that your outfit did not arrive for the agreed date of function, we would be happy to refund your courier costs, however, as the outfit would have left our store in the agreed time frame, we would be unable to refund any cost of the outfit hire itself. On delivery days, (and collection days for the return of outfits) please ensure someone is at the delivery/collection address between the hours of 9am & 5:30pm. This is the time frame in which City Link will deliver/collect the outfits. In most cases we have found deliveries/collections to be early morning to mid afternoon but this is not guaranteed. Also, City Link require a signature on both occasions as proof of delivery/collection. When returning the outfits, please pack the garments carefully and securely in the same box or boxes provided. You need not worry about any labelling etc, City Link will already have this information which will be provided by ourselves. |
